I remade my original SideTrip image from 2014! This is a complete, ground-up remake of the original SideTrip image which I was frankly never happy about.

In a bit of a strange way, I wanted the cathedral to be curved, more path-like than an actual one.
I made a simple stained glass generator a few years ago in FilterForge. So I decided to use that for this project.
The FilterForge filter in action! It has quite a number of parameters, it can also get colors from images (which is what happens a second into this gif).

This is the original image from 2014/10/13. I'm frankly slightly embarrassed! I started SideTrip on that day and since then have created 55 images. It's been 4 years since... I learned a lot just by doing this series. More and more to come!
